The PHOBOS-R is an EW sensing system that provides rapid threat warnings in the 2-18 GHz range and weighs less than 7.2kg. It provides 360 degree azimuth coverage and is ideal for integration into UAVs, portable/deployable sensors, patrol boats, recon vehicles, and light utility aircraft.
The PHOBOS-R can detect a potential electronic threat in less than one second. It has a bearing accuracy of 10 degree rms, less than 25 Watt power consumption, a built in auto-positioning compass/GPS, and is simple to deploy and operate due to its lack of external RF cables and that it requires no positional alignment during its setup.
