QuinStar's Ka-Band 5W (37dBm) variable pulsed power amplifier (QPP–35053534–BZ) utilizes power combining and fast pulse modulation techniques. This amplifier features both CW and pulsed modulation operation modes, and delivers 5 watts (37 dBm) power with ± 0.3 dB flatness at 33 to 38 GHz. Modulated pulse width of the amplifier is variable from 100 ns to CW with rise/fall time of 10/12 ns. The amplifier provides 37 dB gain with ± 0.75 dB flatness over the band and is good for the applications with short pulse, long pulse or/and CW operation modes.
