Precision RF Phase Shifters
API Technologies’ RF Phase Shifters cover the DC-50 GHz frequency range and are targeted towards high performance commercial and military applications. These phase shifters combine high stability, broad bandwidth, and high power capabilities. There are three main categories that API Technologies’ RF Phase Shifters fall under: High Power Trombone Designs, High Performance Through-Line Designs, and High Frequency Designs.
High Power Trombone RF Phase Shifters:
These phase shifters have standard type N connectors, though SMA connectors are also available. They feature high power (2500W peak, 350W average), a wide phase shift range, MIL grade materials/processing, silver rhodium plating for outstanding insertion loss and durability, and more. They are specifically designed for high-end applications.
High Performance Through-Line Designs:
These through-line phase shifters have standard SMA connectors and operate in the DC to 26.5 GHz range. Variation over the total phase travel is minimized through the precision alignment of conductors.
High Frequency Designs:
API’s high frequency phase shifters feature precision conductor alignment and precision micrometer head adjustment. The result is enhanced resolution and setting accuracy, as well as minimized variation over the total phase travel.
