Precision RF Rotary Joints
Rotary Joints are used to transmit stationary RF line energy to a rotating RF line. API Technologies offers precision RF rotary joints with SMA, N, TNC, and 2.92 connector options.
These precision RF rotary joints are ideal for applications involving image transmission, air traffic control, telecommunication control data transmission, and ground-based, ship-based, and airborne radar. Standard and custom ultra-low loss designs are available, from high power in-line DC-18 GHz designs to miniature 10 kilowatt models.
Critical phases of the production process are carefully monitored during the testing phase. Standard testing parameters include starting torque, continuous torque, insertion loss, VSWR, and power handling.
