Southwest Microwave Extends End Launch Connectors To 50+ GHz

Tempe, AZ -- Southwest Microwave has broadened its line of End Launch Connectors to include SMA (27+ GHz), 2.92 mm (40+ GHz), and 2.40 mm (50+ GHz) male and female connectors. These connectors feature low VSWR and low return loss and are intended for multi-layer boards with coplanar waveguide. They are also suitable for thinner microstrip boards.

The Southwest Microwave End Launch Connectors are shipped fully assembled, and they attach to boards using only two through holes. A new bottom clamp design improves grounding. They are high temperature suitable for lead-free processing, and they meet RoHS and WEEE requirements.
